A Snowy Easter....

Hope Everyone Had a great Easter...
Ours was very nice... alittle more snow than I would have liked but nice none the less.

I am headed off to work, so today I ask, What is your favorite Easter tradition? A Also would love a link to photos from your Easter Celebration or Photos to Your blog so I can learn more about you.

Have a great day...

By the way for each day you answer the question your name is entered so stop back and answer another question for better odds...

Love these shots! You guys must have been soooo cold! So, my favorite tradition is fairly new...having the family over for Easter dinner!

I just found your blog from Annabelle's! We don't really have any traditions now that the kids are grown but when they were little it was dyeing the eggs and having the Easter Egg hunt - I made it a little tough to find them, but we all enjoyed it!

When we were kids, Dad would hide jelly beans around the house. DH and I don't have kids so I hope to do this with my nieces some time.

I love your cute family pictures!! The Easter Bunny still leaves a basket of goodies for me (and now my husband and kiddos) at my mom & dad's house -- can't get more fun than that, lol! ;o)

Hiding the Easter eggs. It rained here so we only did it once...usually we are asked to do it again and again.

Those are beautiful family pictures!! We always have a big Easter service and dinner on the grounds at our church which is always wonderful.

Just found your site. I think my fav. easter tradition is going to worship service on the eve before easter. A very long service but very meaningful to church tradition.

hmm - my favorite tradition is dinner with my family which includes spiral ham with parsley potatoes. YUM! And then everything is topped off with my grandmom's yummy lemon meringue pie.

I came across your blog through Scrapbuzz.

One of our favorite Easter traditions is Easter Egg hunting (I also have two small children). Here's a link to my bunnies waiting (not so patiently) to hunt eggs this past Sunday:

My son just turned two on Easter and having him hunt for Easter eggs was SO much fun. I can't wait to do it again next year!

We generally meet up with family and attend mass all together. Then we head home for a huge ham feast. Of course this is followed by an easter egg hunt for the kids.

One of my favourite Easter traditions, of which there are many, is to sow oats in a little basket about 10 days before Easter and when the oat grass comes up, place jelly beans and other small Easter items in the grass as a decorative centre piece.

My mom used to do this, and apparently so did my grandmother. Several of my siblings and I still continue the tradition.
